@pinky85 I'm glad you've found a solution, but if swapping the cables has fixed your problems then I think maybe you have not been suffering the same issue as the rest of us.
After uninstalling all traces of Intel software and using the default Microsoft driver, I've had a perfectly good connection for 2 months now. So obviously it's not a cabling issue (in my case at least - Samsung Series 5 NP550P5C)
