Hi RonB, I have some questions regarding your setup:
- Has this system been able to connect to the LG* TV before? Let’s say, with an older Intel® WiDi software version or older drivers for example?
- Are you connecting to your router at 2.4 or 5 GHz? It is suggested to use 2.4 GHz when connecting to Intel® WiDi.
Please try to generate a log with these instructions:
- Exit Intel WiDi application
- Launch Regedit.exe
- Navigate to the WiDi application section by looking for:
- Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Intel Corporation\Intel WiDi
- Create a new DWORD (32) key named LogEnable
- Set the value of LogEnable = 1
- Exit Regedit.exe
- Log files are created for each WiDi session: the duration of the WiDi application being launched and then closed
- The log file is created immediately after launching the Intel WiDi application and can be opened at any time
- The log files are stored in C:\Users\<userID>\AppData\Local
- The name of the log files are WiDiLog.<date>.<time>.wdl
