I've tried the above mentioned solution you've provided, and it still does not seem to work. By the way I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit Edition, if it helps.
I tried it in the following manner:
1. Repairing .Net Framework 4.5.1. Failed
2. Uninstalling, restarting and reinstalling Widi Remote. Failed.
3. Uninstalling both Remote and .Net Framework 4.5.1, restarting, and installed both back. Failed.
I will now attempt to uninstall Remote, 4.5.1, and this time without updating 4.5.1 on Windows Update. Meanwhile, are there any other solutions you may be able to provide?
EDIT: Didn't work, figured as much. Is there any 'tracking programs' or halt messages that I can find to show you, so that you may be able to better pinpoint the problem?
