Dear Lois,

Whereas I do appreciate your response, my question is, how can you all say that there is no TPM when clearly, Windows 8 shows that there IS indeed a TPM?  I even provided a screenshot for you to see.  Can you please explain this?  Again, if there was no TPM, the system would tell me so.  If there was no TPM, the system would not provide me with options that affect or manipulate the TPM.  IT would also not state the manufacturer of the TPM and the version number.  It would not confirm that I have successfully cleared the TPM or reset the TPM password the way it does.  There is physically a TPM Module on the motherboard, but why it's not working is the real puzzle.

Regards,

Michael Sullivan
