Ok I had to re-register due to the silly password rules here...  who is going to remember special characters?

Anyway.....update....

Ok I have found out a few things....but I am still having the SAME PROBLEM and it is ANNOYING.

1)  power on in the morning

2)  I hear the windows log on chime, but screen is black.

3)  For some odd reason a few weeks ago I decided NOT to "reboot"   but just left it alone to see what happened.

4)   in about 10 minutes  (yes--literally 10 LONG minutes)  the log on screen appears, correct resolution everything is perfect.  BTW I have 2 "users" on this computer....  my "work"  and "home" so when I say log on screen....I am speaking of the choice to select from my 2 "users".   I have done this several times.

5)  When I am impatient and don't have 10 minutes to boot I hit the hard reset and my screen goes to the log in screen....  but it is in SAFE MODE.....then i reset again and select "start windows normally".

6)  Then, if I shutdown and within a few minutes restart...I have no issues.  It is only when I cold start in the morning.  why?  I am in Florida...it's not that cold.

There is no question in my mind that this is a driver issue.  Here's why....

1)  I do not touch my computer, bios, monitor or change a single thing anywhere and eventually the computer works fine.

1.5)     I have not completely ruled out some sort of voltage issue, but once again this is ON THE CHIP so how can I isolate it?

2)  When the screen does finally pop up after 10 minutes it is 100% fine

3)  I see alot of transitioning, i.e.  screen flashing during switching users and booting (more than normal), etc...  so I know it is some sort of resolution/driver issue.

I REALLY would like INTEL to fix this driver issue.
